Hello,
I should really do this. I've made and done so much, and documented it sometimes and other times--haven't bothered.
I discovered my creative gifts because I could not afford the quality of things I was used to; and, also was not satisfied with the things I could afford.
Also pressed for time, I was desperate for beauty products that didn't need time, money, and ritual--but worked.
I started off making clothes and pretty things for my first child--like baby quilt and bumper.
After years of trial and error I started making anything I wanted but couldn't afford. I also made soaps and body stuff.
I feel completely engrossed when I'm making things. It's like prayer, nothing bothers me, I escape mundane daily life, its therapeutic, healing, and quite spontaneous sometimes.
I have shared my soaps with people and everyone who has used them has seen a remarkable difference in their skin. Even though real skincare is not just what you put on your skin.
I think God will use me to express beauty and joy I feel.
I'm busy right now--hopefully I'll remember to take and gather some pictures soon.
Good day!
